WhereDat’s API is a simple web service that lets you get Google Play app data.
If you're building a service or an app that needs programmatic access to Google Play data like app names, ID's or app ratings, WhereDat app search API is for you.
The WhereDat app search API lets you easily find apps and app information. It consists of three different APIs:
- Regular search - using a full string e.g. “facebook” or “snapchat”.
- Lookup search - using an app package name as the key e.g. "com.facebook.katana" or "com.snapchat.android".
- Autocomplete search - using a prefix string e.g. “faceb” for facebook or “snapc” for snapchat.
